The EICA are hosting their first ever World Youth Climbing Championships (WYCC) from Wednesday the 8th September – Sunday the12th this year. The location of the competition changes every year with Ecuador hosting it in 2007, Australia in 2008 and France in 2009. So we're all very excited here at EICA about hosting the most prestigious competition in the world for youths and juniors!
With over 75 countries (that are part of the International Federation of Climbing) being allowed to enter teams from 6 different categories, we expect well over 300 male and female competitors aged between 13 and 18 years.
