Event activities:

Climb
This physical challenge requires the competitors to scale the mighty 100ft tower wall. As if this weren't hard enough they will be against the clock. Team members will be given the opportunity to practice their climbing and perfect their technique with our instructors before nominating their choice to take on the challenge. The team member will be timed on how long it takes to reach the top and then  points will be allocated based on speed.

Aerial Assault
Our Aerial Assault Course is the ultimate adrenaline rush, a truly unique experience where you, quite literally, let it all hang out 100ft from the ground. The ride begins with a death-defying twisted zip slide and ends with a series of increasingly formidable obstacles. Every team member will take part with points being deducted for those that don't. There is a height restriction of minimum 1.4 metres.

Electron Ladders
Traditionally used by cavers to get in and out of caves these wire ladders require a combination of strength, stamina, technique and of course teamwork. The team will be timed over two attempts with two team members climbing and the others assisting.

Abseil
A serious skill or another personal challenge you decide why you try abseiling we just make sure you enjoy it. Starting high up in our Atrium you will be clipped in and slowly you'll make your way down to the atrium floor landing way beneath your starting point. Every team member will take part with points being deducted for those that don't.

Sheep and Shepherd (TG1)
This is a fun game that requires little physical activity and the ability to make great animal noises. One of the group is elected the shepherd, the rest of the group are sheep. The sheep are blind and need to be directed, by the shepherd, back to the sheep pen. The sheep cannot speak nor can they understand any spoken words. The group are given 5 minutes at the beginning of the task to decide on directions using only claps, whistles and animal noises. Points will be allocated based on the speed this is completed .

Unexploded Bomb (TG 2)

The unexploded bomb is ideal for wannabe Jack Bauers (from TVs 24) challenging you to move a bomb from inside a rope circle and place it into a safe box to diffuse it. The group is not allowed to enter the circle and they are not allowed to handle the bomb with their hands. There are ropes and other pieces of equipment provided to lift the bomb out of the circle, no other equipment is permitted. Dropping the bomb or knocking it over will cost the group points and affect their overall score.

Orienteering
The teams navigate their way through the EICA , the quarry and the surrounding countryside to find clues and solve problems.

Tyrolean Traverse
A spectacular rope system, suspended horizontally between two anchor points, teams will be given the challenge of crossing the tyrolean with a number of items. Points will be allocated for successfully completing the challenge, and keeping the mystery items intact!

Wii (Tie-breaker)
In the event of two teams tying on points, there will be a Wii play-off where the two teams will compete in one individual activity or discipline in order to gain an outright winner.
