Stag & Hen
Tailor a day of fun with your nearest and dearest, so that everyone has a great day out during your Stag or Hen celebrations. With a range of packages to suit your group’s tastes the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena:Ratho has got your festivities covered.
EICA:Ratho is built around a disused quarry, which looks pretty spectacular. It’s also the world’s largest indoor climbing arena, making it pretty huge too.
All of our Stag and Hen options begin with us picking you up from your accommodation at 10am and delivering you to the EICA:Ratho. After that there are some common parts to our packages and other bits you can choose to suit.
At the end of your day’s activities we’ll return you to your accommodation, just in time for you to head out on the town… if you’ve still got the energy.
All you need to do is wear some comfy clothes that give you the flexibility to move and we’ll sort out the rest of your climbing kit. Trainers that tie on tightly are also a good idea for the Aerial Assault. Rock shoes, harnesses and helmets are all part of the package.
Once you’ve used up some of your excitement and energy, you can relax in a private room, your base camp for the day. Whilst you recuperate you’ll be served a fresh buffet lunch, fuelling you up for your afternoon’s adventure. And later in the day you will also have coffee and cakes served in the private room.
Activities at EICA can include climbing, Aerial Assault and Spa.
If you want to add less relaxation and more action to your activities then we’ve got just the thing to get in your sights. Could you be a new-age Robin Hood or William Tell or maybe even Maid Marion? Test out your Archery skills on our specially constructed targets, you’ll be amazed the standard you can achieve in just a few shots.
We’ve teamed up with our friends at A1 Paintball to add even more excitement, and maybe bruises, to your day.
We’ll transport you to the 25 acre woodland site and prepare for 6-8 fully marshalled games. All of your equipment hire, CO2 and 300 paintballs are included in your afternoon’s fun. When all your ammunition has been fired and the games are over, we’ll take you back to your hotel to recuperate, or continue the party if you have the energy!
With all the stresses and strains of organising a wedding, Stag and Hen parties are a much-needed occasion of fun and bonding. Make the most of being with friends in this fantastic, inspiring venue and have a great time.
