Rocksters is our club for young climbers aged from 8 to 12 years.
This club caters for all levels of experience, from complete beginner to hardened rock jock. The club is all about your continuous improvement and will teach you rope work skills, coach technique and movement, and provide you with fun and different adventure challenges. And if that's not enough you can also try some abseiling.
To make sure our junior climbers are supervised and well coached we've got 1 instructor to 6 kids, so every Rockster gets the benefit of the instructors' expertise and learns all the skills required to become excellent climbers.
We have now introduced the new Association of British Climbing Walls National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme. It's an ongoing training and assessment course that runs in conjunction with our Rocksters club allowing you to work your way through star award levels as your climbing progresses.
There are now five Rocksters clubs per week, on Mondays from 16.00 to 18.00, Wednesdays from 18.00 to 20.00, Fridays from 15.00 - 17.00, Saturdays from 16.00 to 18.00 and Sunday from 10.30 to 12.30. There are limited spaces in Rocksters (6 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday sessions and 18 on Saturday and Sunday sessions). Each 2-hour session costs £10 and includes equipment hire.
Rocksters is a block of sessions to help progress the childrens climbing. The blocks only run within school term time.
