Outdoor climbs in Scotland are pretty spectacular. And with such a rich geology the different types of rock exposed for climbers provide a range of new and rewarding challenges.
Climbing outdoors on real rock combines physical skills, mental awareness and great feelings of satisfaction, and sometimes relief, when you reach the top of a climb.
The Outdoor Climber Course is tailored to your own personal aims and is pitched by the instructor at a level appropriate to your stage of development, so whatever you want to learn, we’ll be able to teach you. Even if you’re just starting out, or have never climbed before, we can show you the ropes outdoors.
The course may include rock climbing movement skills, belaying, lead climbing techniques including anchor selection and protection methods, multi-pitch climbing skills, personal abseiling and self rescue techniques. Each element of the course will be selected just for you.
