Happy birthday to us, happy birthday to us, happy birthday Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (take a breathe), happy birthday to us.
Hip hip hooray, we've made it to the end of our first year as the EICA, and a fabulous time was had by all. To celebrate we're having a week of celebrations and activities for you to enjoy. And cake. You didn't think we'd forget the birthday cake did you?
So what have we got in store for you?
Monday:
- Climb the Munros Challenge, log each of your climbs and try to get more than 3000ft.
- Climb Related Gym Session (8-9pm), training to take you to the top.
Tuesday:
- Climb the Munros Challenge returns so keep on keeping score.
- Free Bodyvive, coffee & cake. Enjoy a morning work out with lengthening and strengthening moves and then enjoy some cake- perfect.
- Free Body Attack Class. Tuesday nights will never be the same as you perfect the Superman (we'll keep spiderman for the arena).
- Climb Related Gym Session (8-9pm), again our gym crew will push you to succeed.
Wednesday:
- Climb the Munros Challenge.
- Navigation Skills Workshop (7pm). Who needs sat nav when you've picked up the skills for yourself?
- Climb Related Gym Session (8-9pm).
Thursday:
- Scrambles – Art Station, go on, make us a birthday card.
- Climb the Munros Challenge.
- Talk & Slideshow of the Alps (7pm), spectacular sights and challenging chat.
- Climb Related Gym Session (8-9pm).
- Outdoor games.
- Birthday Cake Hunt.
Friday:
- Climb the Munros Challenge & Prize Draw.
- Climb Related Gym Session (8-9pm).
- Birthday Cake Hunt.
- Outdoor Games.
Saturday:
- Bouldering Competition.
- Bouncy Castle.
- Birthday Cake Hunt.
- Outdoor Games.
- BBQ.
Sunday:
- Bouldering Competition & Prize Draw.
- Bouncy Castle.
- Birthday Cake Hunt.
- Outdoor Games.
- Lucky Dip at reception. Everyone who puts their receipt in the prize draw box at reception is enteres and we'll announce prize winners throughout the day on Sunday.
- BBQ.
Our lovely birthday cake will be on display from Thursday. This will be auctioned on Sunday. Tickets are £1 each.
