The other best club in the City and it's strictly for under 18s.
The advanced youth climbing club is for 13-18 year olds. It caters for more experienced climbers who are capable of lead climbing, top roping and bouldering. These sessions cover more specialized coaching on training techniques, performance, rope work and overall progression within the sport.
As with the youth club, we have now introduced the new Association of British Climbing Walls National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme. This is an ongoing training and assessment course that will run in conjunction with our youth club allowing you to work your way through star award levels as your climbing progresses.
It's a 2-hour club which takes place on Friday evenings from 18.00 - 20.00. There are only 6 spaces each night and with a ratio of 6 club members to each instructor so you are guaranteed plenty of personal coaching. Each session costs £10 and includes equipment hire.
