On Wednesday 12 November Sterophonics, James Blunt and Alesha Dixon rocked the Assembly Rooms in November at the glittering Radio Forth Awards ceremony.

The star-studded line-up, which also included Sharleen Spiteri, Leon Jackson and Jason Donovan, shared the stage with our very own Graeme Gardiner and Carol Brown from the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena: Ratho.

Staff from the climbing arena had nominated it as the best place to work in Edinburgh and were delighted to come away with the win. They’d nominated it because “we’re one big happy family” and “we all work as one great team”.

"General manager Graeme Gardiner said, “It’s fantastic to win an award like this. From when Edinburgh Leisure took over the management of the centre to now the difference is amazing. We have such a strong, committed team and this really is a massive pat on the back for all their hard work in the last few years.”
