The East meets West bouldering league final scores are in.
Throughout the winter months EICA teamed up with the Glasgow Climbing Centre (GCC) to create an East meets West bouldering league which featured 3 legs in the East of Scotland and 3 in the West.
Competitors had to complete two entries on one wall (either EICA or GCC) and one at the other. Competitors faced a series of bouldering route problems of varying difficulties and had three attempts to complete each. Scoring was based on how many attempts were taken to complete a route with 10 points awarded on the first atttempt, 7 points on the second and 5 on the third.
The competition wasn't just for seasoned climbers, it was available to climbers of all levels, all ages and from anywhere. There were a number of categories which will have a male and female winner, they were Adult Hard, Adult Recreational and Under 14. There will also be a prize for the highest placed under 18 in the adult categories.
